LSI SAS component products are enabling more than 100 different server models that are based on the new high-performance, Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® server platform. Design wins with all major server OEMs and many regional OEMs underscore our SAS market leadership and the role we played in driving SAS market adoption.

LSI was first to market with SAS components and has shipped more than 500,000 SAS storage components to the OEM server market. Our SAS offerings are unmatched in the industry and our portfolio addresses the full spectrum of server, workstation, and enterprise storage architecture requirements for implementing SAS solutions.

LSI provides low-risk SAS solutions that have been proven interoperable with leading server manufacturers worldwide. We conducted extensive interoperability testing with leading HDD manufacturers, including Fujitsu, Hitachi, and Seagate, to ensure first-to-market SAS success.

LSI is the only vendor in the industry that can offer customers a complete line of SAS adapter solutions ranging from software RAID to HBAs to SAS/SATA hardware RAID all managed under a single management interface.  With such a diverse adapter portfolio, LSI provides a field migration path across all products and from inside the server to outside. The LSI family of adapters also provides a field migration path from SATA to SAS or SAS to SATA.
