Eight Leading Technology Companies Present the Serial Storage Experience at HP WORLD 2004
Serial Storage Technologies Take Center Stage with Vendor Demonstrations and Training Sessions
HP WORLD 2004 - CHICAGO, IL, August 16, 2004 - Eight leading technology companies have come together at HP World 2004 to discuss and showcase the benefits of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial ATA (SATA) interface technologies. Adaptec, Fujitsu Computer Products of America (FCPA), Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Hitachi GST), HP, Intel, LSI Logic Corporation, Maxtor Corporation (NYSE: MXO) and Seagate (NYSE: STX) are sponsoring the Serial (SAS) Experience Center (Booth #717) and will demonstrate a number of live SAS and SATA-based product demonstrations throughout the week. HP World 2004 takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL from August 16-20, 2004.
The Serial Storage Experience booth will include four product demonstrations comprised of hard disk drives, controllers and servers from the participating vendors. The exhibits will focus on the performance, flexibility, reliability and scalability benefits of the new serial interfaces.

Several panel discussions and training sessions will occur throughout HP World 2004 and will provide attendees with insights into the features, benefits and operation of the new serial technologies.
